PAINTING LADYBUGS
A crafter sees possibility
In items others might toss away.
Pistachio nut shells break apart
Into even halves, delighting me.
After I’ve eaten out the tidbit nutmeat,
I’m left with thought of pleasurable activity.
Nut shells, no liability;
They will satisfy my need to play.
The idea of making ladybugs
Surely does appeal to me.
Painting ladybugs, won’t that be neat?
I’m left with the practice of pleasurable activity.
Painting ladybugs stirs my creativity,
(I have this strange proclivity
To “make something out of nothing”, every day.)
Likewise, the God of the universe is busy
Making value out of the lowliness in me.
He stirs up within me his own fragrance sweet.
I’m left with my transformation by his pleasurable activity.

I like the thought of creating something out of nothing. Kind of like writing.
ReplyDeleteThat must be how God feels ...every day!
